Pyrolysis Activators

The Adsorb ABC02 and ABC04 Biomass Converters are a patented, high-efficiency ceramic encased pyrolysis and activation units that transforms woody biomass into two valuable outputs:  Premium activated carbon and clean thermal energy.  Designed for industrial-scale use, the ABC04 processes up to 888 kg/hr of wood, producing 80 kg/hr of activated carbon with a 9% yield and generating up to 2.4 MW of recoverable heat. Operating at temperatures over 1000°C, the system ensures compliant air emissions and high combustion efficiency.  Integrated flue gas and heat recovery systems make it an ideal replacement for fossil fuel-based heat sources in carbon-taxed environments. A full-scale reference plant operates near OR Tambo Airport, South Africa.
