Karoo Liquid Gold, a leading South African olive oil producer, has taken a pioneering step towards sustainable water treatment by integrating Adsorb Reefs into the filtration system of their natural swimming pool.
The innovative solution involves packing the Adsorb Reefs into a filter box located just before the pool’s spillway. At present, the reefs are undergoing the initial wetting process. Over time, they will naturally sink and be positioned securely below the water line within the filter box.
In total, Karoo Liquid Gold has purchased 30 Adsorb Reefs, reflecting a strong commitment to both water purity and environmentally responsible design. By incorporating this technology, the producer ensures that its natural pool remains crystal clear and eco-friendly, aligning with its broader ethos of sustainability and care for the environment.
This project highlights the versatility of Adsorb Reefs, demonstrating their effectiveness not only in large-scale industrial and municipal applications, but also in lifestyle and agricultural settings where clean, safe water plays an integral role.
